PAGASA Public Weather Forecast Update for TYPHOON ROSITA as of 4:00 AM 27 October 2018.

Synopsis:  Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.
  • TYPHOON YUTU
  • Location of the eye (at 3AM): 1,495 KM East of Nothern Luzon [OUT PAR]
  • Maximum Sustained Winds: 185 KM/H near the center
  • Gustiness: up to 225 KM/H
  • Movement: West at 20 KM/H
  •  LATEST UPDATE as of 8:45 AM: TY Yutu has entered PAR and was named TYPHOON ROSITA. (exact time of enter -tbd)
  • TYPHOON ROSITA is expected to landfall on Northern Luzon.

Regional Weather Forecast



NCR: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of NCR-PRSD forecast area. Light to occasionally strong winds coming from northeast to east will prevail and becoming northwest over Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales and Bataan. The coastal waters along these areas will be slight to occasionally rough.

Northern Luzon: Maulap na kalangitan na may mga mahinang pag-ulan ang inaasahan sa mga isla ng Batanes at babuyan samantalang bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan na may pulu-pulong mga pag-ulan dulot Hanging Amihan ang inaasahan sa mga lalawigan ng Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, natitirang bahagi ng Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga at Aurora.

Southern Luzon: Bahagyang mapanganuron sundo sa mapanganuron na kalangitan na may pulo-pulong mga pag-uran o pagkikilat-pagdaguldol ang iiral sa Kabikulan, Norteng Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, asin Marinduque. Maluya sundo sa moderatong duros na haling Norte-Sirangan ang mamatian, na may banayad sundo sa moderatong pag-alon ning kadagatan.

VISAYAS: Visayas, Palawan, and  Occidental Mindoro will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.  Strong winds from d Northeast will prevail ovr Eastern Visayas with rough seas.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from Northeast will prevail over rest of Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro with moderate to occasionally rough seas.

MINDANAO: Mindanao will experienced partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds coming from the Northeast to Northwest and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
