SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon "QUEENIE" was located based on all available data at 875 km East of Basco, Batanes (19.6 N, 130.3 E) with maximum sustained winds of 200 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 245 km/h. It is moving Northwest at 20 km/h.

NCR Weather Situation: MPartly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of NCR-PRSD forecast areas. Light to moderate winds blowing from east becoming southwest will prevail and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate while rough to very rough along the coast of Northern Quezon including Polillo Island.
