PAGASA Public Weather Forecast Update for New LPA and Tropical Deperession as of 5:00 AM 15 November 2018.

Synopsis:  At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 370 km South Southeast of Puerto Prinsesa City, Palawan (6.6 N, 119.8 E).
FOR: TROPICAL DEPRESSION [OUT PAR]
Location: 2,715 km east of Mindanao
Strength: 45km/hr strength
Gustiness: 60 km/hr
Movement:  20 km/hr west
Expected enter PAR: between Saturday evening or Sunday morning (Once enter PAR, it will be named "Samuel".
Affected Areas: East of Visayas and Mindanao

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITION



Palawan, Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to LPA.  Possible floodings and/or landslides.

Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. No significant impact

Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon.  No Significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorm.  Possible floodings and landslides due to severe thunderstorm.
