Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies due to Northeast Monsoon. No significant impact.
FOR: TYPHOON {WUTIP} [OUT. PAR]
According to PAGASA - Northeast Monsoon affecting the whole country. Meanwhile, Typhoon WUTIP has slowed down while maintaining its strength. Typhoon "WUTIP" was located based on all available data at 1,815 km East of Visayas (12.4 N, 142.3 E)[OUTSIDE PAR] with maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 225 km/h. It is moving Northwest at 15 km/h. Typhoon WUTIP poses no direct threat to any part of the country. The name WUTIP (or butterfly) was contributed by Macao S.A.R. (China). Forecast Positions and Intensities: Tomorrow morning - 25 February 2019 expected at distance of 1,725 km East of Visayas (OUTSIDE PAR) (13.5°N, 140.5°E) Typhoon.
The public and the disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to monitor for the next update on this tropical cyclone to be incorporated in the Public Weather Forecast at 4 PM today and 4 AM tomorrow. The next tropical cyclone advisory for WUTIP will be issued at 11 AM tomorrow.
