Around 07:37:54 AM of 27 July 2019 a Mw 5.9 Magnitude hits Batanes at the location of 20.99°N, 121.85°E - 021 km N 01° E of Itbayat (Batanes). The said earthquake origin is Tectonic.

An aftershock 5.8 magnitude in dotted red hits Batanes after the 5.9 Magnitude.
