PAGASA Weather Forecast Update for Tropical Depression "Ramon" and Tropical Storm "SARAH" as of 5:00 PM 20 November 2019.

Synposis: It is moving Northwest at 25 km/h.
At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm "SARAH" {FUNG-WONG} was estimated based on all available data at 555 km East Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora or 570 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (17.7 °N, 127.1 °E), with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h. It is moving North °Northwest at 30 km/h. Meanwhile, at 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) (formerly "RAMON") was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya (16.5 °N, 120.9 °E).

REGIONAL FORECAST:
Batanes and Cagayan will experience Occasional rains with gusty winds due to TS -Sarah-Possible floodings or landslides. Moderate to heavy damage due to strong winds.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to LPA (formerly -Ramon-)Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms.  Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

2PM | "RAMON" MAINTAINS ITS STRENGTH AND IS NOW CROSSING IFUGAO AREA.
Strong to gale force winds will prevail over Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to the surge of Northeast Monsoon. Rainfall outlook for today: Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains over Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Apayao, and the northern portion of Ilocos Norte. Light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains over Ilocos Sur, Abra, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Isabela, La Union, Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya and the rest of Ilocos Norte.

11 AM | "SARAH" INTENSIFIES INTO A TROPICAL STORM AS IT MOVES NORTH-NORTHWESTWARD. Rainfall outlook for today: Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains over Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Apayao, and the northern portion of Ilocos Norte. Light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains over Ilocos Sur, Abra, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Isabela, La Union, Benguet and the rest of Ilocos Norte.
