PAGASA Weather Update for Active Tropical Cyclone and Northeast Monsoon as of 5:00 AM 28 November.

Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon. 
"KAMMURI" is forecast to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between Sunday (01 December) and Monday (02 December) and will be named "TISOY". The international name "KAMMURI" (meaning: Corona Borealis constellation) was contributed by Japan

ACTIVE TROPICAL CYCLONE OUTSIDE PAR AS OF 3:00 AM TODAY:
SEVERE TROPICAL STORM {KAMMURI} (1928)
LOCATION: 1,510 KM EAST OF VISAYAS (12.0 °N, 139.3 °E)
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 110 KM/H
GUSTINESS: UP TO 135 KM/H
MOVEMENT: NORTHWEST AT 10 KM/H

REGIONAL FORECAST:
Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Trough of STS -Kammuri-. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorm.

Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon Cloudy will experience skies with scattered rains due to Northeast Monsoon. No Significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. No Significant impact.

The rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorm. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorm.
