PAGASA Weather Update for Severe Tropical Storm "QUIEL" as of 5:00 PM 08 November 2019.

Issued at 05:00 AM, November 08, 2019 Synposis  At 3:00 PM today, the center of Typhoon "QUIEL" {NAKRI} was estimated based on all available data at 430 km West of Coron, Palawan (12.5 °N, 116.3 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 150 km/h. It is moving Southwest at 10 km/h. Tail-end of a Cold Front affecting Northern Luzon.
REGIONAL FORECAST:
Northern Luzon will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Tail end of a Cold Front Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Bataan, Zambales, Palawan and Mindoro provinces will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to TY Quiel.  Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms.  Possible isolated flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
