SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 50 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes or 245 km North Northwest of Borongan City, Eastern Samar (13.7 °N, 124.7 °E). Southwesterly Windflow affecting Palawan, Western Visayas, and Mindanao.
This weather disturbance may develop into a tropical depression in the next 48 hours.
Forecast Weather Conditions
Metro Manila, Visayas, Central Luzon, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Isabela will experience Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms due to LPA / Southwesterly Windflow. Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.
Mindanao and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to LPA / Southwesterly Windflow. Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate with at times heavy rains.
The rest of Luzon will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms
