PAGASA Weather Update for TD Butchoy as of 5:00 PM, 11 June 2020.

SYNOPSIS
:   At 4:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression "BUTCHOY" was estimated based on all available data at 75 km Northwest of Daet, Camarines Norte (14.6 °N, 122.5 °E ) It is moving West Northwest at 20 km/h with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 55 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and western section of Mindanao.

THE LOW PRESSURE AREA EAST OF QUEZON PROVINCE HAS DEVELOPED INTO TROPICAL DEPRESSION "BUTCHOY"

BUTCHOY is forecast to cross Polillo Islands and make landfall over northern Quezon-southern Aurora area between tonight and tomorrow morning.

24 Hour(Tomorrow afternoon): 110 km West of Dagupan City, Pangasinan(16.0°N, 119.3°E)
48 Hour(Saturday afternoon):545 km West of Calayan, Cagayan(19.4°N, 116.3°E)

72 Hour(Sunday afternoon): 970 km West Northwest of Extreme Northern Luzon(22.6°N, 112.9°E)

Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, the southern portion of Aurora (Dingalan, San Luis), Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, the northern and central portion of Quezon (General Nakar, Infanta, Real, Panukulan, Burdeos, Polillo, Patnanungan, Jomalig), Mauban, Sampaloc, Lucban, San Antonio, Tiaong, Dolores, Candelaria, Sariaya, Tayabas City, Lucena City, Pagbilao, Atimonan, Padre Burgos, Agdangan, Unisan, Plaridel, Gumaca, Pitogo, Macalelon, Lopez, Guinayangan, Tagkawayan, Calauag, Quezon, Alabat, Perez), and Camarines Norte

Forecast Weather Conditions

Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Central Luzon, Camarines Norte, and Pangasinan Rains with gusty winds due to TD -Butchoy-. Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.

The rest of Luzon, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and BARMM will expereince Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to TD -Butchoy- / Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate with at times heavy rains.

The rest of Mindanao will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms
