SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 135 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (18.5 °N, 122.9 °E). Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
Forecast Weather Conditions:
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to LPA. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila, Rest of Central Luzon,,MIMAROPA, Visayas, Zamboanga Penisula, Northern Mindanao and Caraga Region will experiencece Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.
The rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers mostly in the afternoon or evening due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms[1]
