SYNOPSIS: At 7:00 PM today, the eye of Typhoon "QUINTA" was located based on all available data at in the vicinity of Malinao Albay (13.4 °N, 123.7 °E ) with maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center and gustiness up to 180 km/h. It is moving Westward at 25 km/h.

LOCATION OF THE CENTER: 2,070 KM EAST OF CENTRAL LUZON (16.3°N, 140.9°E)

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 55 KM/H NEAR THE CENTER

GUSTINESS: UP TO 70 KM/H

MOVEMENT: NORTHWESTWARD SLOWLY

Forecast Weather Conditions

Occidental Mindoro, Palawan and Western Visayas will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Trough of TY Molave. Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.

Batanes and Cagayan will eexperincee  Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms due to Tail- end of a Frontal System. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
