PAGASA Weather Forecast Update for New LPA as of 5:00 AM - 01 December 2020.

Issued at 5:00 AM, 1 DECEMBER 2020

Synopsis: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 375 km East of Legazpi City, Albay (12.9°N, 127.2 °E). Tail-end of a Frontal System (Shear line) affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

Forecast Weather Conditions:

Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Tailend of a Frontal System/LPA.  Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. No significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. No significant impact.

The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flashfloods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
