PHIVOLCS Update 2017: Recorded Earthquakes for December 28, 2017.

PHIVOLCS Earthquake Bulletins of latest seismic events in the Philippines are listed below.


The latest recorded seismic events in the Philippines issued 28 December 2017 by PHIVOLCS-DOST.

Thanks to PHIVOLCS-DOST  for letting us know the latest seismic events in the Philippines everyday and every moment. In the month of December 2017, the highest magnitude recorded was 5.2 recorded on Christamas Day (25 Dec 2017 - 08:47 PM) at 237  km S 33° E of Sarangani (Davao Occidental). Second are those happened on 17th of December at 036 km N 12° E of Burgos (Surigao Del Norte) and last December 01, 2017 02:57 AM at 010 km N 09° E of Wao (Lanao Del Sur) - both 5.1 magnitude with origin, Tectonic. 

The highest recorded magnitude for this day is 4.2 spotted at 120  km S 59° E of Sarangani (Davao Occidental).
