SYNOPSIS: Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Luzon and Visayas. TROPICAL CYCLONE INFORMATION TYPHOON "JONGDARI" LOCATION OF CENTER (3AM): 2, 330 KM NORTHEAST OF EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON (OUTSIDE PAR) (34.0 N, 140.0 E) MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 140 KM/HR NEAR THE CENTER GUSTINESS: UP TO 190 KM/HR MOVEMENT: NORTHWEST @ 40 KM/H.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:

Western Visayas, Palawan and Mindoro Provinces will experience Cloudy skies with  scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and  rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flooding and landslides due to  scattered rains or thunderstorms.
