PAGASA Weather Update for LPA and another New LPA - 09 September 2018.

At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 130 km Northwest of Basco, Batanes (21.2N, 121.0E). Meanwhile another Low Pressure Area was estimated at 815 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (9.2N, 133.7E).

 PAGASA WEATHER FORECAST:

Batanes and Babuyan group of islands will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorm due to due to LPA.  Possible floodings and landslides due to scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Mindanao, Western and Central Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorm due to Trough of LPA.  Possible floodings and landslides due to scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers  due to Localized Thunderstorm.  Possible flash floods and landslides due to severe thunderstorm.
