PAGASA Weather Update for Tropical Depression "Neneng" & Typhoon {Mangkhut} as of 4:00 PM 11 September 2018.

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm with International name “Barijat”” formerly “Neneng” was estimated based on all available data at 425 km West of Extreme Northern Luzon (20.2°N, 117.9°E)(OUTSIDE PAR) with maximum sustained winds of 85km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 105km/h. It is moving West Southwest at 15km/h.

Gustiness: Up to 225 kph
Movement: West at 30 kph

FORECAST:  

Batanes, Babuyan group of Islands, Ilocos Provinces, CAR and Cagayan Valley will xperience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm due to Trough of TD "Neneng".

Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thuderstorm.
