SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the eye of TYPHOON "PAENG" was located based on all available data at 740 km East of Basco, Batanes (19.6°N, 129.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 200 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 240 km/h. It is moving West Northwest at 10 km/h.

NCR Weather Situation: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of NCR-PRSD forecast areas. Light to moderate winds blowing from northwest to west will prevail and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate while rough to very rough over the eastern coast of Quezon Province.
