PAGASA Public Weather Forecast Update for STS {YUTU} (ROSITA) as of 5:00 AM 01 November 2018.

Synopsis:  At 3:00 am today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm "YUTU" (Formerly #RositaPH) was at located based on all available data at 402km West Northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (19.1N, 116.9E) with maximum sustained winds of up to 90 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 115 km/h. It is moving North Northwest at 15 kph.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITION

NCR: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorm will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of NCR-PRSD forecast area. Light to moderate winds coming from southeast to east will prevail over the area and the coastal waters will be slight to rough. 

Northern Luzon: Maulap na kalangitan na may kalat-kalat na mga pag-ulan at pagkidlat-pagkulog dulot ng extensyon ng Bagyong “ROSITA” ang inaasahan sa mga lalawigan ng Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Batanes at sa mga Isla ng Babuyan. Bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan na may pulu-pulong mga pag-ulan dulot ng lokal na mga pagkidlat-pagkulog ang mararanasan sa Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino at Aurora.

Southern Luzon: Bahagyang mapanganuron sundo sa kung minsan mapanganuron na kalangitan na may pulo-pulong mga pag-uran o pagkikilat-pagdagoldol an nilalaoman sa Kabikulan, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon asin Northern Samar. Moderato sundo sa makusog na duros na haling Sirangan sundo sa Timog-sirangan an mairal na may moderato sundo sa maalon na kadagatan.

VISAYAS: Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan  will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to Strong winds blowing from the East to Southeast will prevail over Occidental Mindoro and Palawan, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Meanwhile, light to moderate winds blowing from the East to Southeast over Visayas with slight to moderate seas.

Mindanao: Mindanao will have partly cloudy skies to at times cloudy with rainshowers or thunderstorm due to Localized Thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds coming from East to Southeast with slight to moderate seas.
