PAGASA Public Weather Forecast Update for Tropical Depression "Samuel" as of 4:00 AM 19 November 2018.

Synopsis:  At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "SAMUEL" was estimated based on all available data at 665 km East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (06.9 N, 132.2 E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. It is moving West Northwest at 15 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

Location of eye/center: At 4:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "SAMUEL" was estimated based on all available data at 660 km East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (07.1 °N, 132.2 °E)
Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h
Forecast Movement: Moving West Northwest at 15 km/h
Forecast Positions:
24 Hour(Tomorrow morning): 395 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur(8.8°N, 129.9°E)
48 Hour(Wednesday morning):In the vicinity of Hugpa, Southern Leyte(10.3°N, 124.9°E)

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITION



Caraga, Davao Region, and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms due to TD "SAMUEL".  Possible flash floods and landslides due to scattered to widespread moderate to heavy rains.

Bicol Region and the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to TD "SAMUEL".  Possible flash floods and landslides due to scattered to widespread light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal

#1 (30-60kph expected in 36 hrs)
Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte and Dinagat Island Province.

Possible raising of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS) No. 1 over Southern Leyte and Eastern Samar.
