PAGASA Public Weather Forecast Update for Tropical Depression "Samuel" & TS {MAN-YI} as of 4:00 AM 22 November 2018.

Synopsis:  At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "SAMUEL" was estimated based on all available data at 75 km North of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (10.4 N, 118.8 E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. It is moving West at 25 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.

LOCATION OF THE CENTER (3AM TODAY): 2,460 KM EAST OF MINDANAO (9.3 N, 148.7 E) [OUTSIDE PAR]
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 85 KM/H NEAR THE CENTER
GUSTINESS: UP TO 105 KM/H
MOVEMENT: WEST NORTHWEST AT 45 KM/H

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITION



Palawan including Calamian and Cuyo group of Islands will experience Rains with Gusty winds due to TD "SAMUEL".  Possible flash floods and landslides due to scattered to widespread moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Mindoro Provinces, Marinduque and Antique will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to TD "SAMUEL".  Possible flash floods and landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley Region will experience Cloudy skies with light rains due to Northeast Monsoon.  No significant impact.

The rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshower due to Localized Thunderstorms.  Possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
