PAGASA Public Weather Update for Typhoon Tomas as of 4:00 AM 25 November 2018.

Synopsis:   At 3:00 AM today, the center of Typhoon "TOMAS" {MAN-YI} was located based on all available data at 1,400 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (17.2 N, 134.9 E) with maximum sustained winds of 145 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 180 km/h. It is moving North at 15 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.  

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITION



Cagayan Valley will experience Cloudy skies with light rains due to Northeast Monsoon.  No Significant impact.

Ilocos Region and Cordillera Administrative Region  w ill experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon.  No significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country  w ill experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms.  Possible flash floods and landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

WHAT TO EXPECT FOR TYPHOON MAN-YI:
 ISSUED AT:11:00 PM, 24 November 2018 

TYPHOON "TOMAS" HAS SLIGHTLY ACCELERATED AND IS EXPECTED TO RE-ENTER THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (PAR) WITHIN THE NEXT 18 HOURS.
- Typhoon TOMAS” is not expected to make landfall and has no direct effect on any part of the country at the moment. However, due to the surge of the northeast monsoon, sea travel is risky over the seaboards of Northern Luzon, the eastern seaboards of Central and Southern Luzon, and the eastern seaboard of Visayas due to rough to very rough seas.
