PAGASA Public Weather Update for LPA as of 4:00 PM 23 December 2018.

Synopsis: At 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of San Jose De Buan, Samar (12.1 N, 125.1 E). Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon. This LPA is expected to dissipate within 24 hours while the other LPA outside PAR has the possibility to develop into a Tropical Depression according to weather specialist, Ezra Bulquerin.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITION



Visayas, Caraga and Bicol Region will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm due to LPA.  Possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon and CALABARZON will experience Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains due to Northeast Monsoon No significant impact
The rest of Luzon will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon.  No significant impact.

The rest of Mindanao will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorm Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
