Philippine weather update for Typhoon {WUTIP} as of 4:00 PM 21 February 2019 - PAGASA

Philippine Forecast Weather Condition


Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods during severe thunderstorms.

Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeasterly Surface Windflow. No significant impact

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies du to Northeasterly Surface Windflow.  No significant impact.

FOR: TYPHOON {WUTIP} [OUT. PAR]

According to PAGASA weather specialist Gener Quitlong, Northeasterly Surface Windflow is affecting Luzon and Visayas.  However, aside from that, a new weather system is being monitored by PAGASA. The Severe Tropical Storm has intensify and developed into Typhoon with international name "WUTIP" and is located at distance of 2,540 km east of Mindanao (*3pm). The Typhoon has strength of 130 km/hr near the center, gustiness of up to 160 km/hr moving 25 km/hr west northwest.  This weather system has less chance to enter PAR any may re-curved taking the direction of southeast and even though there is no weather advisory issued, it is safe to say that we still monitor the updates of PAGASA for possible changes in the above-mentioned data.
