PAGASA Weather Update for Tropical Storm "SARAH" as of 5:00 PM 22 November 2019.

Issued at 05:00 PM, November 22, 2019 Synposis: At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm "SARAH" {FUNG-WONG} was estimated based on all available data at 530 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes (23.7 °N, 125.7 °E), with maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 105 km/h. It is moving Northeast at 15 km/h. °Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.
REGIONAL FORECAST: Bicol Region and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm due to Northeast Monsoon.  Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the Central Luzon will experience Cloudy skies with isolated rains due to Northeast Monsoon. Possible isloated floodings.
Rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers jdue to Localized Thunderstorms.  Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

"SARAH" WEAKENS INTO A TROPICAL STORM WHILE MOVING NORTH-NORTHEASTWARD
“SARAH” weakened into a Tropical Storm at 8:00 AM today.

Tropical Storm "SARAH" is no longer expected to bring significant rainfall activity over the country. 

However, due to the Northeast Monsoon, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains may be experienced over Metro Manila, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna and Bulacan.
