PAGASA Weather Update for LPA as of 05:00 PM 15 January 2020.

SYNOPSIS: Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon. Meanwhile, at 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 150 km East Northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (8.9 °N, 127.6 °E).
REGIONAL FORECAST
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region. Eastern Visayas, Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains due to Northeast Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered moderate rainshowers.
Batangas and Cavite will experience cloudy skies with isolated rains due to Northeast Monsoon / Volcanic Activity. Potential for isolated thunderstorms in the vicinity of the volcano with reduced visibility during ashfall.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. Possible intermittent strong winds especially in coastal and mountainous areas.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
