Synopsis: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 855 km East Southeast of Davao City (5.4 °N, 133.3 °E). It is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao.
Forecast Weather Conditions:
Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ. Possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.
Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience Cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeasterly surface windflow. No significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Easterlies or localized thunderstorms. No significant impact. [1]
