PAGASA Weather Update for TD Butchoy as of 5:00 AM, 12 June 2020.

SYNOPSIS
:   At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "BUTCHOY" was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of San Felipe, Zambales (15.1 °N, 120.2 °E) with maximum winds of 45 km/h and gustiness of up to 75 km/h. It is moving West Northwest at 15 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

"BUTCHOY" IS NOW OVER ZAMBALES PROVINCE AND IS HEADING TOWARDS THE WEST PHILIPPINE SEA.

Today: Moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, northern portion of Palawan including Calamian and Cuyo Islands, and Occidental Mindoro. Light to moderate with at times heavy rains over Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, and the rest of Luzon.

Landfall Information:
"BUTCHOY" made landfall over Polillo, Quezon (5:30 PM, 11 June) and Infanta, Quezon (6:00 PM, 11 June).

24 Hour(Tomorrow morning): 360 km West of Sinait, Ilocos Sur (OUTSIDE PAR)(17.7°N, 117.0°E)
48 Hour(Sunday morning):885 km West of Extreme Northern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR)(21.1°N, 113.5°E)
72 Hour(Monday morning): 1,195 km West Northwest of Extreme Northern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR)(23.9°N, 111.0°E)

Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1: Luzon
Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan

Forecast Weather Conditions

Bataan and Zambales will experience Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms due to TD -Butchoy-. Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.

The rest of Luzon, Visayas, Caraga and Davao Region will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to TD -Butchoy- / Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate with at times heavy rains.

The rest of Mindanao will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
