SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 300 km East of Infanta, Quezon (15.1 °N, 124.4 °E), embedded in the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Forecast Weather Conditions:
Bicol Region, Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to LPA / ITCZ. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers mostly in the afternoon or evening due to ITCZ / Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The rest of Luzon will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms[1]
