PAGASA Regional Weather Update for Typhoon "PAENG" and TS{KONG-REY} as of 5:00 PM 29 September 2018.

SYNOPSIS: Trough of Typhoon with international name"TRAMI"(formerlyPAENG) affecting Extreme Northern Luzon. 
At 3:00 PM today, the Tropical Depression develops into Tropical Storm {Kong-Rey} , located at 1,815 East of Visayas with strength of 65km/h and gustiness of up to 80km/hr moving West North West at 30 km/hr. Expected  enter PAR: Tuesday (October 02, 2018).

REGIONAL WEATHER FORECAST UPDATE:

NCR Weather Situation:

Metro Manila and the rest of NCR-PRSD forecast area will experience partly cloudy skies with possible isolated rainshowers. Light to moderate winds coming from north to southwest will prevail over these areas and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate, while becoming rough to very rough over the eastern coast of Quezon.

NORTHERN LUZON: 

Maulap na papawirin na may kalat-kalat na mga pag-ulan dulot at pagkidlat-pagkulog sanhi ng extensyon ng Bagyong “TRAMI”(dating “PAENG”) ang mararansan sa Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Batanes at sa mga Isla ng Babuyan.Bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan na may pulu-pulong mga pag-ulan dulot ng lokal na mga pagkidlat-pagkulog ang inaasahan sa mga lalawigan ng La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Aurora, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, at sa nalalabing bahagi ng Cagayan. 

SOUTHERN LUZON: 

Bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan na may pulo-pulong mga pag-ulan o pagkidlat-pagkulog ang mararanasan sa Kabikulan, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon at Northern Samar. Malakas hanggang sa napakalakas na hangin mula sa Hilagang-kanluran hangang sa Timog-kanluran na may maalon hanggang sa napaka-alon na karagatan ang iiral sa mga baybayin ng Catanduanes, Camarines Norte at silangan baybayin ng Camarines Sur. Katamtaman hanggang sa malakas na hangin mula sa Hilagang-kanluran hangang sa Timog-kanluran na may katamtaman hanggang sa maalon na karagatan ang mararanasan sa natitirang baybayin ng Kabikulan at Northern Samar. Mahina hanggang sa katamtamang hangin mula sa Timog-kanluran na may banayad hanggang sa katamtamang pag-alon ng karagatan ang iiral sa Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque at Romblon.

VISAYAS:

Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.  Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over the Eastern section Visayas, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and the rest of Visayas with slight to moderate seas.

MINDANAO:

Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds coming from the Southwest and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough over the eastern section of Mindanao. Elsewhere, light to moderate winds coming from the west to southwest with slight to moderate seas.
