PAGASA Public Weather Update for TD "USMAN" as of 4:00 AM 26 December 2018.

Synopsis: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "USMAN" was estimated based on all available data at 795 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (9.2 N, 133.5 E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 60 km/h. It is moving West Northwest at 20 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon. 
TD "Usman"  might intensifies into a Tropical Storm before it landfall on Easter Samar by Friday (28 December). Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals is expected to raise today on in some part of Eastern Visayas and Northern CARAGA.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITION



Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Trough of TD.  Possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience Cloudy skies with light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. No Significant Impact.

Ilocos Region will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon.  No Significant Impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms.  Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
TRACK
Track: Southern Leyte > Visayan Sea > Southern part of Panay Island > Exit to Northern Part of Sulu Sea > Southern Part of Palawan inc. Calamain Group of Islands > Exit to West Philippine Sea. By Monday "Usman" is expected outside the PAR.
