PAGASA Weather Update for Tropical Depression and Frontal System as of 5:00 AM 05 November 2019.

Synposis  Frontal System affecting Northern Luzon. Trough of Tropical Depression affecting Central and Southern Luzon.

LOCATION: 610 KM WEST SOUTHWEST OF IBA, ZAMBALES (13.6 °N,114.6 °E)
LOCATION : 3,180 KM EAST OF EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON (18.9 °N,152.3 °E)
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 45 KM/H NEAR THE CENTER
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS : 140 KM/H NEAR THE CENTER
GUSTINESS: UP TO 55 KM/H
GUSTINESS: UP TO 170 KM/H
MOVEMENT: ALMOST STATIONARY
MOVEMENT: NORTHWEST AT 15 KM/H

REGIONAL FORECAST

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley Region will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Frontal System.  Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Cavite and Batangas will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Trough of TD.  Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Caraga and Davao Region will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to ITCZPossible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms.  Possible isolated flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Tropical Cyclone Advisory # 1

The LPA developed into a Tropical Depression (TD) at 2:00 AM today. The TD is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) within 24 hours and will be named " QUIEL" The trough of the TD and the Frontal system will bring scattered light to moderate rains with at times heavy rains (during thunderstorms) over Ilocos Region, Cagayan, Apayao, Batanes, Palawan, Zambales, and Bataan The TD is less likely to make landfall in any part of the country. The TD may intensify into a Tropical Storm (TS) within 24 hrs.

Track: Tomorrow morning 06 November 2019 at distance of 445 km West Southwest of Iba, Zambales (13.2°N, 116.5°E) in form of a Tropical Storm.
