PAGASA Weather Update for TS "Karding" as of 4:00 PM 09 August 2018.

SYNOPSIS:  At 3:00 PM  today,  the center of Tropical  Storm "KARDING"  {YAGI}  was estimated based on all available data at 1,160 km East of  Basco, Batanes  (20.9 °N, 133.1 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 65  km/h  near the center and gustiness of up to 80  km/h. Moving West at 10 km/h.  Southwest Monsoon affecting the whole country.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS

Metro Manila, and the rest of Luzon, and Western Visayas will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to occasionally heavy rains or thunderstorms.
